One bird is crouching, body tightened 'til feathers flying. The tall bird is trying to intimidate her partner while her feathers pop into the jungle. Anger has possessed both birds without giving a truth an issue. A bad critic has given them a bad critique, Now an art work is absent a flawed finish. Talent asks for good materials, good design, good color and good labor; a good artist wins now and then. Talent is a gift that a person works for and searches for...and pomposity forgets the problem. Now the birds only argue, while the Wisdom Butterfly drops a tear. Next Wednesday I will offer another print and story

I always include friends, artists, and relatives as well as strangers to enter a story within the print. I was most often cutting paper, while others enjoy a big world. How many climb a tree?

Back again, but older
Seven years have hurried by while I had to fix many health issues. Now I am feeling young and making prints on the press with plenty of dyed colored paper added...and sometimes oil pastel. Next week I will enter new monotypes.

Calendar page change
What happened to April? It has been a month of technical challenges from ordinary requests. For my birthday I bought a Google TV requiring two trips from the Geek Squad, then my two year old computer collapsed (now fixed as you can see), then the garage door acted up, going up and down by itself, and I almost lost my website because my answering machine was disconnected while new carpet was installed. Haven't had time to install new art. Haven't had time to create new art. I'm beginning to feel mean. Tomorrow is May, a new day. Keep in touch.

Birthday Wow!!!
It has been a really busy and wonderful birthday...eighty only happens once...now I will concern myself with short term memory...I certainly have wonderful old-time memories. My art exhibit has been hung with Jan and Jo. I had nine new pieces and then Lar's portrait. The others have hung older works before, but not forty three years older. TIME FLIES!

Time goes faster...and faster
Yesterday I became an octogenarian. I like the word. I'll let you know how I like the state of being as time goes on. No pic for today...I'm headed to an art exhibit. My show will be hung this Wednesday at Canoa Hills Rec Center.
